Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza

The Red, Hot & Blue Festival is produced by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau. This event hosts tens of thousands of people annually in The Woodlands Town Center to celebrate America’s Independence.
The Red, Hot & Blue Festival, The Woodland’s single largest event, celebrates its 11th year on July 4, 2008. It is held in Waterway Square on the banks of The Woodlands Waterway.
The 23-minute fireworks show, shot over The Woodlands Town Center, is the second largest in the Greater Houston region, second only to downtown Houston. The soundtrack for The Red, Hot & Blue Festival Fireworks is simulcast on Houston’s #1 radio station, Sunny 99.1
Water Taxi Information
Water taxis will operate along The Woodlands Waterway on July 3rd from 11 am -10 pm and July 4th between 11am and 11pm. Boats will not operate during the fireworks display on July 4th (8:45 pm - 10 pm) but will resume operations after the fireworks have completed.
Special water taxi pricing for July 4th includes an All Day Pass for only $4 and a Senior/Youth/Disabled Pass for $2.
The Woodlands Waterway Trolley Information
Trolleys will be running on July 4 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
